Yates is a four year old brindle male. He ran 113 races at Tri-State Greyhound Park. Now he would love to find a comfy forever couch and a lot of toys. He has tested older kid and other large breed friendly, however he is not cat or small animal safe. Yates is just a big puppy. He loves to run and play with or without the other dogs. He gets along greyt with the other greyhounds in his playgroup and he shares nicely. If another greyhound wants the toy he has, he will simply let them have it and move onto the next toy. He just loves all the toys, but he really loves the ones that are still capable of making noise. When he hears a squeak, his ears perk up and he looks like he is standing at attention. He will initiate the zoomies and he loves to get in the front of the pack. He doesn't need other dogs to have fun. He can do his zoomies and play all on his own. He enjoys getting attention and always has a big smile on his face. He does not like having his feet touched and he has growled during his nail clipping. Due to his playful nature and his feet issue, we will only place him in a home with older kids (10+). He loves to go out for walks and once he settles down, he walks nicely on a leash. He enjoys all kinds of different treats, but he has not started to take them from our hands. Yates would make a greyt first greyhound or a wonderful addition to an existing pack.
